Chellan is an environmental professional with a strong foundation in data analysis and environmental management. She brings over 10 years’ experience as a Registered Veterinary Technologist, contributing well-developed analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills to her work at IEMA.
She has supported the development and implementation of Environmental Management Systems aligned with ISO 14001 and contributes to projects involving carbon accounting, regulatory compliance, and sustainability improvement. She provides research, data review, and technical support across a range of environmental projects, with a particular interest in ecology and environmental sustainability.
She holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management, with a focus on aquatic ecosystems, and is continuing to build her expertise in emerging environmental challenges.
Outside of work, Chellan enjoys hiking in the mountains, snowboarding, and travelling. She also has a strong personal interest in microplastics and their presence in aquatic environments.
