FAQs

How often should environmental audits be undertaken?

The appropriate frequency depends on regulatory obligations, approval conditions, organisational risk, and internal governance requirements. We can help determine an audit program that aligns with your compliance and business objectives.

Are your audits independent?

Yes. Our audits are conducted independently by experienced, certified led auditors, providing objective assessments that support regulatory confidence, governance, and continual improvement.

Which standards and regulations do you audit against?

We audit against applicable environmental legislation, approval conditions, licence requirements, corporate governance frameworks, and recognised standards including ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and AS/NZS 4801.

Can you provide specialist technical expertise as part of an audit?

Yes. Where required, we assemble multidisciplinary audit teams with specialists in areas such as groundwater, geochemistry, ecology, rehabilitation, and mine closure to ensure audits are technically robust and fit for purpose.

What happens after an audit is completed?

Following the audit, we provide a detailed report outlining findings, compliance status, identified risks, opportunities for improvement, and practical recommendations to strengthen environmental performance and governance.
