Andrew is a highly versatile sustainability specialist with a multidisciplinary background spanning environment, chemical engineering, and IT (data warehousing and engineering SaaS). This breadth of experience has shaped a strong systems-thinking approach to complex sustainability challenges across the mining, infrastructure, energy, buildings and Defence sectors.
He has significant experience in tier-1 consulting environments and is recognised for his pragmatic, collaborative and integrity-led approach. He combines rigorous technical capability with an ability to work effectively with clients, multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to deliver practical and defensible outcomes. Andrew has deep capability in areas such as climate change risk assessment and adaptation planning, GHG accounting and decarbonisation strategy, and sustainability frameworks.
Andrew’s background in enterprise database development and business intelligence confers highly relevant expertise in sustainability and carbon modelling, data management and assurance-ready reporting. He holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with University Medal and is both an Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professional (ISAP) and Green Star Accredited Professional (GSAP).
Andrew has lived and worked on three continents and in Australia’s three largest cities for extended periods of time. Outside of work, his interests include hiking, cooking, fashion, strength training, reading top-quality journalism, and learning Spanish.
