James brings a strong background in spatial science, geospatial systems and applied technology to support complex environmental and operational challenges. He specialises in using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to solve business problems, with a practical and innovative approach that delivers high-quality outcomes for clients.
He combines deep technical expertise in the ESRI suite (including ArcGIS Enterprise and Online), database management, cloud infrastructure and programming with strong problem-solving and communication skills. James is also experienced in developing innovative tools and workflows, including contributing to advanced GIS-based systems supporting mining, environmental management, rehabilitation and closure.
In addition to his consulting work, James has experience as a trainer and educator, delivering GIS training and developing learning resources through TAFE NSW. He is passionate about continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and leveraging emerging technologies, including automation and AI, to enhance spatial solutions and deliver practical value for clients and stakeholders.
Outside of work, James enjoys cooking and gardening.
