Jess bringing extensive experience in environmental consulting within the mining industry. She has undertaken a wide range of independent environmental audits across mine sites, quarries, renewable energy developments, and industrial operations, and is an approved Assessor for The Copper Mark and Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM).
Her expertise includes post-approvals and compliance for mining operations in New South Wales, with a strong focus on rehabilitation and mine closure. This includes the development of Rehabilitation Management Plans, Annual Rehabilitation Reports and Forward Programs, Annual Reviews, and Rehabilitation Objectives and Completion Criteria. She has extensive experience preparing Rehabilitation Cost Estimates and supporting sites through regulatory requirements and agency consultation. Jess has also undertaken several secondments as a site-based environmental officer.
Jess has worked closely with numerous operations to develop and implement environmental management plans, including coordinating government agency engagement. She also has significant experience delivering mine closure projects, including preparing closure plans, facilitating workshops and risk assessments, managing specialist inputs, and supporting stakeholder consultation. Jess holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management. She is a G2 certified risk assessor with significant experience facilitating complex risk assessments, and an Exemplar Global certified Lead Auditor for ISO 14001 and ISO 19011.
Outside of work, she enjoys staying active and keeping up with her three children.
