Tawna brings experience in environmental planning, assessment, approvals, auditing and compliance across the industrial and mining sectors. She has supported a range of projects requiring practical application of environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
Tawna has worked in environmental advisory and support roles through several secondments, assisting clients implement initiatives that support sustainable outcomes, with a focus on the circular economy and effective waste management. This experience allows her to contribute to developing solutions that consider operational needs with environmental responsibility.
She also holds a Master of Secondary Teaching (Science), which strengthens her ability to communicate complex information in a practical and accessible way. This background also enhances her attention to detail, organisational skills and adaptability in navigating environmental compliance and planning frameworks to support sustainable project outcomes.
Outside of work, Tawna enjoys morning coffees on the beach, spending time with family and friends, hiking and snowboarding in her home state of Colorado, and is an enthusiastic fan of ice hockey.
