Our History
Established in 2018, IEMA was built around an experienced team with a proven track record of delivering environmental projects across operational roles, consulting and government. This breadth of experience enables us to understand our clients’ challenges from multiple perspectives.
Our approach is underpinned by a commitment to helping clients maintain their social license to operate. Through our broad range of services, we support organisations to meet their environmental, regulatory and community obligations with confidence.

Together, we provide integrated platforms for accurate carbon accounting, real-time compliance and governance risk management, and advanced geospatial analysis – enabling our clients to reduce risk, improve transparency, meet regulatory and ESG obligations, and drive measurable sustainability outcomes.
Community Impact
We are committed to making a meaningful difference beyond our projects, with community involvement embedded in our culture and supported at every level of the business.
All employees receive two paid work hours each month to support a charity or community organisation of their choice, encouraging our people to contribute personally to causes that matter to them. Each quarter, we also nominate a preferred charity or community initiative to receive a company donation, alongside ongoing fundraising, volunteering and sponsorship activities.
Our recent contributions and partnerships have included supporting The Hawthorn Club, OzHarvest, Aussie Ark, Meals on Wheels and Surf Life Saving, as well as our ongoing sponsorship of a child through World Vision. These initiatives span community wellbeing, food security, conservation, youth development and local participation, reflecting our commitment to creating positive social and environmental outcomes in the communities in which we live and work.
